Ultra Sensitive Point of Care Lateral Flow Immunofluorescence Assay

Dx-Sys Inc. is developing a Point of Care Lateral Flow Immunoassay using Lanthanide chemistry. The Time Resolved Fluorescence (TRF) technology offers unparalleled sensitivity and least background due to longer lifetime for fluorescence and larger stokes shift. We successfully developed an ultra-sensitive assay to detect picogram levels of Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein (GFAP), a potential biomarker for Traumatic Brain Injury, in human serum.

Assay method:

100 μL of serum containing GFAP is added to the sample port, followed by 50 μL of chase buffer. The results are read in the TRF reader after 30-60 minutes.

Dose response curves (DRC) for GFAP-BDP showing sensitivity at sub-picogram levels using Time resolved fluorescence.
